The world has fallen out of love with modern dating and, in tandem, fallen in love with tales of romance. So while Bridgerton viewership soared, we saw an opportunity to remind everyone that all that love and lust is still here — all it takes is a swipe.

It’s rare to get a partnership that feels this seamless. Tinder and Bridgerton both trade in romance and anticipation — just in very different eras. What a fun dichotomy to bring to life.

We landed on the idea that modern dating can still feel like a fantasy, which gave us a rich creative playground.

This multi-channel campaign launched with a film that brings to life the feeling of possibility as you wait for your date to arrive, through the grand lens of the Regency era. We’ve got butterflies, walls of flowers, extravagant dancing, and even more extravagant masks. But when the daydream shatters, we realise that perhaps this time, it wasn’t such a fantasy after all.
